- Please share at least one experience where you lived/worked in another country. The more specifc details you have, the better you'll help everyone else.
- I lived in Dubai for few years. It's a nice place to live and work as the place is full of various nationalities, you get chance to enhance your skills in a multi-cultural environment.
Being an English language teacher, I got chance to take Spoken English classes for various nationalities. I never felt any language problem in communication.
- What factors do you consider when you want to live abroad? Consider - weather, quality of life, etc.
- Weather: The weather of Dubai is very hot particularly during May-July. In this period it's difficult to concentrate on work.
Quality of life: It's quite expensive. Specially the rents of accomodations are very high so lower income people have to share small apartments to save money for their family. Food is affordable for anyone.
Taxi transportation is very expensive but there are other means of transportation too like bus, boats (Abras) which are cheaper than taxis.
- What kind of work do you do, or what would you like to do? Example - I am a software developer by day, but I'd love to blog about scuba diving in Belize.
- I would like to do writing, translation etc.
- If you had a plane ticket in your hand right now, what would be the destination?
- any good destination in the world.
